Bomariba ward MCA Protus Aramba. [Photo/Dennis Chacha]A Kisii County MCA has been asked to explain why the drilling of a borehole he promised at Keboye hills in Bomariba ward has not been done yet.
On Thursday, while speaking at Kenyorora where the borehole was to be drilled the residents faulted area MCA Protus Aramba for failing to fulfill his promises.
“The MCA has been giving us empty promises. He promised to drill a borehole at top of a hill to help in supplying water to residents of Keboye, Nyabiosi, Boisukia, Bogitocho villages but nothing has been done until today. He should come out and tell us why the project has failed to start,” said Justus Onditi.
Onditi said the MCA who is in his second term has not done anything despite the promises he made.
“We have voted him twice but nothing good he has done. Since he won in his second round, he has not come to us to tell us some of the projects he plans to initiate. As residents we were fooled to elect him,” he said.
Juma Omwoyo accused the ward rep sideling other villages in the ward in the distribution of resources.
“Feeder roads have only been upgraded in Keboye where come from but other villages, feeder roads have not been done. He has failed to deliver and I am happy he won his second term without my vote,” said Omwoyo.
