Having made so many unsuccessful pleas to the area MCA, MP and the county government, they finally said enough is enough, and collected themselves for the noble course.

“We have decided to do what the county government, especially the MCA of Kiabonyoru James Sabwengi is supposed to do. For the last three years, the MCA has never stepped anywhere near our village," said Charles Basiri, a resident.

"We are working daylong without pay as we stopped working in our farms and businesses to join hands together without giving up,” said Robert Moenga.

“We are happy for the first time having such a road connecting our village which is in a valley but 2-3 km from Nyamira, which has been nicknamed 'Migingo'. We are preparing for a big change,” he added.
