The residents have now called on the government to come in and help them in the construction of Kiendege Dispensary that has not been completed in a number of years.

The residents said that they have had so many challenges having to travel a number of Kilometres so that they can access a health facility.

They said that they have to travel to either Kisii town, Keumbu or to Nyangena Dispensary because they claim that they have no dispensary in their vicinity.

The residents said that they want to have a place where they can take their children for treatment near them when they are injured from school and where women can give birth easily without having to undergo long distances.

They also said that the roads in the region are in a very bad condition which force them to use wheelbarrows when taking their patients to hospitals because vehicles cannot use the roads.

They called on the government to help finish the construction of the Dispensary that is halfway complete but has since stalled adding that they want easy access to medication like other people.
