Residents of Molo town have raised concern over lack of enough facilities at the Molo sub-county especially the maternity wing.
Speaking exclusively to this writer on Monday, the residents claimed the maternity is in a poor condition with women sharing wards with children.
"The situation in the ward is very saddening where we mothers and children share one ward.This can lead to outbreak of diseases from mothers to children,"said a mother.
Her sentiments were echoed by another resident who said a time has come for the County Government to rethink about the issue if at all they value maternal health.
The residents mostly from Molo Ward have now appealed to Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua to ensure facility especially the new ward is furnished with beds.
