Residents in Suneka have been urged to always seek help from the county government in the case of emergencies.
Addressing residents at Nyambunwa area the area ward representative Samwel Ongoro said the couty has well equipped emergency service vans and operators ready to serve all the time and the residents should not hesitate from calling all the time.
He also called upon area residents to make good use of fire rescue emergency lines whenever disaster struck since they were county facilities set for use.
“The County government is well-equipped to handle and effectively contain all forms of emergencies; we therefore call for the residents’ co-operation to call emergency lines immediately when there is an incident or fire outbreak,” Ongoro said.
Ongoro added that the three numbers are not toll free and can be used in case of any emergencies ranging from accidents, fire out breakages, acute health conditions among others.
This comes barely after fire broke in a Nyambunwa Academy when residents did not make an effort to call on the rescue team from the county.
