Residents of Matungulu location in Machakos County have been urged not to despise health insurance Fund services as it offers affordable and quality health cover to its members in times of emergency.
Speaking on Thursday afternoon in Tala Ward during a routine tour area Member of County Assembly (MCA), Alex Kimitu, called upon the area residents to join the National Health Insurance Fund to guarantee good health at all times.
“Health fund guarantees good health, in case one falls sick, they pay a big percentage of your hospital bills. The only condition is paying an affordable amount monthly,” said Kimitu.
The MCA urged the residents to embrace other institutions that are genuine and offer insurance.
He further stated that the step would ensure all residents receive quality services in times of need despite their societal level.
“Do not despise institutions that offer emergency cover as their role is to ensure all citizens despite their earning have access to eminent and equal care. Whether you have a monthly salary of self employed all you need is make a monthly contribution,” said Kimitu.
