Speaking at the DC market, Pauline Jimmy said she thinks the issue is running out of hand because of the increased cases of lions being on the run.

‘‘It is very terrifying to be told that the lions have escaped their parks and again say people should be careful. I really fear, especially if they are said to have escaped from the parks near Kibera,’’ she said.

‘‘The county government should help KWS fence the parks because if we assume things, we might be moving to worst times. It is good to learn that the lions have never killed anyone from the time they started fleeing the parks but that cannot make us feel safe, KWS should do something about this soon before it gets worse,’’ she suggested.
