Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti said the MCAs had failed to effectively represent their electorates due to self-personal interests.

Ndeti said the county legislatures had allowed themselves to be abused, misused, dumped and picked again for misuse whenever there was need by leadership of the Machakos government.

She spoke during a thanksgiving ceremony of her late husband Henry Oduwole to end her 40 days of mourning at her rural home in Kinanie, Mavoko sub-county on Saturday.

“I advise Machakos MCA’s for free, some of them are like my younger brothers and sisters while others my elders. Respect yourselves for others to respect you, that is why leadership of Machakos government will keep abusing, dumping and picking you up for misuse again whenever it wants,” said Ndeti.

Ndeti said Mutua had fooled residents for long time and it is was high time he is sent home by electorates in 2017 elections.

He said he had manipulated some of the MCA’s who keep dancing his tunes instead of executing their constitutional mandates of electorate’s representation, legislation and oversight role to the county government.

Ndeti said Mutua was playing politics with lives of the residents instead of implementing development projects to improve living standards.

She said Mutua’s time is over and up because locals want real development not media public relations.

Ndeti said Machakos government is the most corrupt.

“Those from other parts of Kenya who think there is development in Machakos County, I invite you to the county and see for yourselves. There is no government corrupt as that of Machakos,” said Ndeti.

Ndeti said she emerged number one in CDF utilization during his reign as Kathiani MP hence ready to replicate the same to execute credible development projects across the county if elected Machakos governor.

“I will deliver real development. Water, health, education, roads, youth unemployment and discrimination will be a thing of the past,” she said.

Ndeti said her government will be comprised of more than 50% youth and women.
