"If anyone is dissatisfied with being in Wiper party I dare you if you are man or woman enough leave the public seat that wiper supported you to get," said Kalonzo.

The former Vice president also condemned bad mouthing of the party leaders. "It's not in order for an individual to keep on asking in public 'where were you' just to show disrespect to me in the name of self-campaigning," he added.

Kalonzo further stated that he did not hold any grudge or animosity with anyone leaving the party but instead he was pitiful to them.

"I hold no animosity with anyone leaving the party but instead I pity them for the wrong turn they are taking in politics," he added.

Among the leaders who had attended the rally prayers are Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula, Jonstone Muthama, Bernard Kiala among others.

However Machakos governor who has openly criticized the opposition was absent only giving conditions for the prayer rally.

Mutua launched Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement party a move seen as a rebellion to the Wiper party.

However, governor, Mutua opposed that the movement was political rather said it was a development-focused program.
