Through National Assembly Minority leader Francis Nyenze, Wiper has called on ODM to respect the agreement which stated that Kalonzo Musyoka will be the presidential candidate in 2017.

"We had agreed that Raila Odinga would be the presidential candidate in 2013 and 2017 should have been Musyoka. It is in this regard that we are asking Raila Odinga to back Kalonzo Musyoka as we agreed in the MoU signed by our respective lawyers," Nyenze said.

The lawmaker who was addressing the media on Tuesday said that it was time for Odinga and his supporters returned a favour.

"As the Kamba community we backed Raila Odinga for the presidency and we are asking people from Nyanza and around the country to reciprocate the favour," he added.

The CORD principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula are set to meet to deliberate on formalities of finding the coalition's presidential flag bearer.
