Riana ward representative Vincent Ariemba has urged Interior Cs Fred Matiang’i to stop demeaning Dagorreti North MP Simba Aramba.
The MCA said Arati was fully endorsed to be the Gusii community’s spokesperson.
“Arati has proved to be a leader living by his words. He volunteered to defend the Gusii community but other leaders are not happy about it," he said.
He argued that the Interior CS was too junior on matters politics and should leave the spokesperson post to Mr Arati.
He said that the community was ready to support him if he agreed to work with Mr Arati.
He also dismissed calls by a section of leaders from the community that Dr Matiang'i was fit to serve as the Deputy President.
“It is unfortunate that Osoro who joined politics the other day is at the forefront demeaning Arati who has been in politics for along period. The leaders should stop misleading the community," he said.
