Speaking during an Interview over the weekend, the legislator was categorical that the problems being experienced at the IEBC were majorly generated by politicians.
“I want to call upon the opposition to allow IEBC play its role as per the constitution. Let us stop creating wrangles here and there,” he said.
Ngunjiri who defended his seat on a Jubilee ticket called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to stamp his authority as President.
“I want also to appeal to the President not to be so soft. This country is united under the institution of Presidency and Kenyans don’t want to go the 2007/2008 way,” he said.
“We are going for elections, let us not have threats from any corner but IEBC should also put its house in order” he added.
