Magenche Ward Representative Mr Timothy Ogugu has asked politicians to respect the incumbent leaders in aid of making development a reality within the county.

Addressing residents on Sunday at Masobete, Mr Ogugu challenged the aspirants interested in seats elective posts to practice mature, non-confrontational politics to avoid abusive language which will bring divisions among residents.

"We should sell policies instead of engaging on mudslinging this will help to transform our county, let us remember that the country is bigger than an individual,"  said Ogugu.

“We need to focus on development rather than talking politics which has hindered our development projects,” he added.

In another hand businessman and political aspirant, Ben Nyangau accused the leaders who went to State House of sidelining women and the youth from their programme.

"We are yet to see their agenda as leaders since they have not invited us to their meetings as youth leaders," he said.

He also advised the resident’s moré so the youths to stop being misused by politicians who have vested interest.

“As youths let us focus on how we can develop us not be used by politicians who are out to benefit themselves,"  he added.
