Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi has said Wiper Party will move out of NASA if its leader Stephen Kalonzo is not accorded the respect he deserves in the coalition.
Addressing the residents in Mwingi town on Monday, Mulyungi said the MPs allied to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) have been scorning Kalonzo because he didn't participate in the NASA leader Raila Odinga's oathing ceremony on January 30.
Mulyungi said the disrespect from the Raila led party didn't start yesterday.
He said Raila's swearing in as the People's President was to test the waters before Kalonzo's oathing as his deputy takes place.
Mulyungi said it was despicable that ODM leaders see themselves superior thereby belittling other parties within the NASA coalition.
“Just like Raila, Kalonzo deserves utmost respect, we have taken enough from the ODM camp," Mulyungi said.
Mulyungi reiterated that even in the Public service commission nominations, ODM had submitted three names and raised concerns when Wiper submitted Ben Mumanyi's name.
He said Wiper will not join Jubilee if it walks out of NASA.
