Kathiani MP Robert Mbui has told Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua to respect Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
Mbui said the governor should stop overstepping his boundaries and accord the Wiper leader respect he deserves.
"You read Kalonzo in school, now you have the audacity to stand and compare yourself with him. You have a long way to go," Mbui said.
He addressed the public after issuing bursary cheques to orphans and vulnerable children at Mitumbini Primary School in his constituency on Friday.
Mbui said Mutua should play mature politics and stop using Kalonzo to gain political mileage.
He told the governor to concentrate on developing Machakos County instead of 2022 politics.
"We just got off from politics a few months ago, you're here telling Kenyans of your presidential bid instead of working for the people who elected you," Mbui said.
Mbui said most roads in Machakos are impassable despite the governor chest thumbing of how developed the county is.
He urged other political parties in Ukambani to dissolve and join One Kenya Movement, the new Wiper party's outfit as announced by Kalonzo who said they were re-branding as a party.
