Dagoretti North Member of Parliament Simba Arati has told of leaders criticising him for marrying a foreign wife saying that it will not in any way help locals.
Mr Arati said that attacks on his life partner will not stop him from liberating the abagusii community that according to him has been doing badly on matters development.
"My wife has been an inspiration in my life and she is behind my political success. It is time every leader minds his own business," said Mr Arati.
He said that those who were spreading the propaganda against him were the same leaders who were hitting on him saying that he was not married.
According to him, his critics were fearing the changes he was bringing on the Gusii political platform.
"They should not fear that I have declared an interest in matters Gusii politics they should instead rejoice that as a community we are moving forward," he said.
The city MP said that he had not declared any interest in any post in Kisii county and all he wanted was the community to unite.
Mr Arati has come under sharp criticism with most local leaders feeling uncomfortable with his entrance into local politics.
