Governor Ruto, who is also the Chama Cha Mashinani(CCM) party leader was responding to the DP’s accusations that the governor was using CCM to divide the Kalenjin community.

“I want to tell my brother the Deputy President to go slow if he wants to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House. He should learn to respect other leaders and the ordinary folk. He should be the symbol of unity and not division,” said governor Ruto.

The former council of governors chairman has announced that he will not join Jubilee and will instead defend his seat using CCM party ticket.
