Nominated senator Paul Njoroge Ben, who is from Nakuru county, on Wednesday told off Ruto over his brand of politics and advised him to instead reach out to such leaders instead of maligning them.

Speaking during a breakfast show on Radio Maisha, Njoroge said Ruto is traversing the country insulting leaders a move he said will only deal him a political blow.

He singled out Ruto's frosty relationship with Baringo senator Gideon Moi which he said was as a result of the DP's 'arrogance'.

"The DP must stop his divisive and counteractive style of politics. He was in Baringo over the weekend and the sentiments he made to the effect that residents of Baringo should decamp from KANU which he said has lost political direction is in a very bad taste considering that KANU is an affiliate of Jubilee,"he added.

Njoroge has lately ruffled feathers among the Jubilee coalition after he insisted that it is not automatic that the Kikuyu community will support Ruto in the 2022 polls.
