East African Legislative Assembly MP Mpuru Aburi has told the former Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter to respect Jubilee party for giving him a gate pass to parliament.
Speaking in Central Imenti on Saturday, Aburi said Keter proved to be a corrupt leader after he was arrested trying to forge treasury bills at Central Bank of Kenya.
"Keter does not respect President Uhuru Kenyatta, neither does he respect DP William Ruto. I want to laud the Judge who nullified his election for a job well done," Aburi said.
The youthful and outspoken MP was arrested alongside two co-directors of Desai Industries - Madat Chatur and Arthur Sakwa on February 17 for allegedly forging Treasury bills valued at Sh633 million.
Central Imenti MP Moses Kirima said the court was independent and therefore, the Jubilee government should not be blamed for Keter's woes.
Kirima said those who are losing election petitions should not blame the State since the executive, Judiciary and legislative each has its mandate.
He exempted DP Ruto from blame following the nullification of Keter's election nullification by the Eldoret High Court.
