Speaking during an interview with NTV, Osiany noted that the ouster of the Ford Kenya leader is not good for the coalition unity.

"If the sin of Wetangula is not attending the 30th January swearing in, what is the greater sin? What is easier to forgive, a stolen election or not attending the swearing in?," said the youthful politician.

According to Osiany, there is nothing wrong that the Bungoma senator had done to occasion his ouster.

Wetangula was voted out of the coveted position by ODM-allied Senators and was replaced by Siaya Senator James Orengo.

Following the ouster, ODM leader Raila Odinga convened a meeting on Thursday which was attended by NASA senators in a bid to convince them to reconsider their decision on Wetangula.

However, reports indicate that the Senators have declared that their decision on Wetangula is final.
