According to him, the demonstrations has prompted some Kenyans to lose life and properties for an issue that can amicably be settled if the government goes into dialogue with the opposition.

Addressing the press in Kisii town, Mogaka challenged President Kenyatta to respond to the calls from the opposition and have dialogue to end demonstrations in the country.

“We need peace in our country I am urging President Kenyatta to accept and have a dialogue with the opposition to save peoples properties from destruction in different parts of the country,” said Mogaka.

On Monday anti–IEBC demonstrations destroyed properties in different parts of the county including Kisumu, Nairobi.
