One of the stoned vehicle, October 31, 2017.[Photo/Citizen TV]Uasin Gishu County Deputy Governor Daniel Chemno has condemned incidences where several vehicles operating along the Eldoret-Bomet-Kericho road were stoned by rowdy youth at Chemilil on Tuesday.Addressing the press at the county headquarters after meeting sacco officials for the affected vehicles, Chemno termed the incident as unacceptable.He said six vehicles from Uasin Gishu county were affected and asked NASA leadership to intervene and calm their supporters.Chemno further asked the police to act decisively to ensure law and order in restored in the route."We condemn in the strongest terms possible case of youths stoning vehicles and we ask NASA principals to reign on their supporters," said chemno.Vehicles stoned belong to Uasin Gishu County-based Wareng Sacco and Eldoret Premier Sacco.The rowdy youth believed to be supporters of NASA coalition are said to have reacted after residents in Chemilil and the Kericho-Kisumu boarder were allegedly attacked the night after IEBC declared Uhuru Kenyatta president-elect, on Monday.
