Former Kisii  gubernatorial candidate Chris Obure has been urged to retire from politics in peace and stop criticising NASA leader Raila Odinga.

Lucas Mogoa, ANC who lost the Bobasi MP seat in August 8 said Obure's attacks on Raila is meant to please Jubilee.

"Obure should retire peacefully instead of trying to impress masters in Jubilee Party to be given a job. Let him stop attacking Raila,’’ said Mogoa.

Mogoa said Obure has been in politics for long and should retire honorably.

"For more than 3 decades, Obure has been in politics. He did too little for the Kisii people. He should retire immediately since he lost to Governor James Ongwae on August 8,’’ he said.

This comes after Obure criticised Raila on Friday for asking people to boycott the repeat presidential poll on Thursday.
