Raila and other opposition leaders. facebook.com/Raila OdingaOpposition chief Raila Odinga has blamed President Uhuru Kenyatta for the high corruption levels in the country.
Raila said under Jubilee’s administration corruption hit high levels with the head of State investing no effort in taming it.
“If you can’t fight corruption, retire and go home,” the former premier said in Nakuru during a NASA rally also attended by Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula and Isaac Ruto.
“If you have been defeated, leave and create room for those who can do the job.”
Raila has been at the forefront criticizing Jubilee over what he terms the administration’s laxity to fight graft.
Since 2013 when Uhuru took over power from former President Mwai Kibaki, Raila has unearthed mega graft scandals including the NYS saga which led to the resignation of former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Ann Waiguru who is now vying for the Kirinyaga gubernatorial seat.
Raila also unearthed the Eurobond as well as SGR corruption cases.
Uhuru, however, says he has done what he could to fight graft.
The commander in chief says he is committed to seeing a corruption free Kenya.
Raila arged residents of Nakuru County to vote for NASA and send ‘incompetent’ Jubilee home.
He said Uhuru has steered a regime that has done little to cut the high cost of living.
He said under his presidency, he will focus at supporting youth by creating employment opportunities for them.
