National Youth Service (NYS) scandal suspects want the government to return their high end cars that were impounded.

Lucy Nigirita and her three children, Ann Ngirita, Jeremiah Ngirita and Phyllis Ngirita, told a court sitting on Wednesday that the government took their cars under unclear circumstances.

The family's lawyer Cliff Ombeta lamented the move to the court asking for directions over the matter and frozen accounts.

“Are those accounts going to be exhibits in court and why are they taking our client’s cars?” Ombeta said.
