[Photo|Jarunda Jaluth]National Super Alliance (NASA) strategist David Ndii has been released.This is after the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Keriako Tobiko issued the directive.The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions directed the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to free Dr Ndii on bond."DPP Keriako Tobiko has directed the DCI that David Ndii be released on police bond. Further, DPP has directed that once investigations are completed, the resultant inquiry file be forwarded to ODPP for appropriate directions," the office tweeted on Monday. Ndii was later released on a Sh10,000 police bond over alleged incitement and was asked to report back at the CID headquarters on December 11.He was arrested on Sunday night in Diani, Kwale county.On Monday, NASA leader Raila Odinga condemned the move by the police to arrest Dr Ndii.He reiterated that Dr Ndii had not committed any crime and alleged that the government was trying to intimidate NASA members through blackmail and arrests.
