It has now emerged that former Keiyo South MP Nicholas Kipyator Biwott collapsed in his house in Nairobi and was pronounced dead on arrival at Nairobi Hospital.

According to Nationa, sources closes to the family said that Biwott has been ailing for some time.

He said to have visited hopitals both locally and abroad.

Sources said that after taking breakfast Tuesday morning and said he was planning to go to hospital

He later collapsed before leaving.

He was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The news of his death was broken by his long-serving aide William Chebkutt and later confirmed by Mr Biwott’s daughter Esther Koimett.
