Despite limited cabinet slots, President Uhuru Kenyatta may appoint more political losers in his government as Principal Secretaries should he be sworn for the second term, says Moseti Moseti.

Already, Uhuru is said to be in a dilemma on how to distribute cabinet positions to meet a national outlook given resistance from a sizable population during repeat polls.

"Seven current ministers will lose their seats and we shall have more especially those input in election outcome was noticeable," revealed the source to Sunday Nation.

Currently, Uhuru is working with 19 ministers and would be compelled to absorb the maximum 22 slots given by the constitution.

But according to Moseti, Uhuru may appoint more Principal Secretaries given that the constitution does not limit him.

"To satisfy his friends who lost in elections and for more inclusion, he is likely to appoint more Principal Secretaries given that there are no limitations," he says.

Understandably, the opposition team has dismissed any plans to challenge Uhuru's victory in a repeat poll that they had boycotted.
