A Member of Parliament allied to the opposition has revealed the day when anti-IEBC protests will conclude.
According to Suna East East lawmaker Junet Mohammed, the demos calling for reforms at the election body will end on October 26, the date when the repeat presidential polls will take p;lace.Speaking during a rally at Kibra, Mohammed said that instead of going to the polls NASA will hold major protests across the country.
"On 26th October it will be the climax of the protests, on that day, we will crown the demos," Junet statedFrom Monday, NASA is set hold the demos on a daily basis despite the government banning the exercise in Nairobi, Kisumu and Mombasa.
Interior CS Fred Matiang'i banned the protests stating that they were inconvincing normal operations in major cities.
The opposition has vowed to defy the directive by the CS.
