Ex – Prime Minister Raila Odinga is jet back to the country on Thursday contrary to claims that he could stay longer in the UK.
Odinga is scheduled to jet out of the country on Monday evening to UK to attend a public lecture at Chatham House, The Royal Institute of International Affairs.
With presidential repeat elections just few weeks away, Odinga’s NASA has insisted that it will not participate until certain changes are made by IEBC.
“Forget rumours that Raila Odinga will be away until after 26th this month,” says Nelson Havi, one of NASA lead lawyers.
In his twitter, the outspoken legal mogul adds:” He leaves for three days only and will be back to continue to push for the truth and justice in the electoral systems.”
The country risks plunging into a constitutional crisis, should Odinga boycott the polls at least according to many political analysts.
Among the issues Odinga want addressed is revocation of printing contract awarded to Al Ghurair and evacuation of a host of IEBC officials.
