On Wednesday Deputy President William Ruto held a meeting at his Sugoi home with Baringo leaders in a bid to counter the growing popularity of Senator Gideon Moi and Kanu's resurgence in the region.Sources privy to the meeting who sought for anonymity because they are not required to release this information to the public revealed that DP Ruto was really unimpressed by the resurgence of Kanu in Rift Valley.
"The DP was unimpressed by Kanu's heightened activities in the region. He urged leaders to ensure that Jubilee wins all the seats in the 2017 elections," the source revealed.
