On Wednesday, former Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire said the party has put mechanisms that would see members educated on the content of the secret MoU with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"There is a confusion on handshake and this is what the party leader will first explain to all members before we discuss on how to strengthen the part," he said.

Even before making a declaration on whether he will run, Raila is also expected to whip members who have reportedly been courting deputy President William Ruto.

And a source within the Orange party says the former PM may not publicly make his stand known on Tuesday but he 'would rather handle matters handshake'.

"There is a general feeling that he declares his stand on 2022 but he will not handle that. He will instead put more focus on handshake," said the source.

But in May, Raila openly dismissed claims by Siaya senator James Orengo that he will be on ballot in 2022.

Further, in the Tuesday's meeting, Raila would furnish members with proposal to have a close working relationship with Baringo senator Gideon Moi.
