Led by presidential candidate Raila Odinga, Nasa highlighted five plans that it intends to ensure, are implemented in case they assume power in August 8, 2017.Nasa chief campaigner ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi said, the plan seeks to:1. Revive agricultural sector by spurring production through improved husbandry practices and access to quality and affordable and available inputs. 2. Develop community-owned youth-driven value addition agricultural and extractive industries in the region 3. Establish a dry port in the region and establish market linkages with the rest of the country and region into the Great Lakes and beyond. 4. Facilitate access to friendly credit and financial services and cancel financial burdens visited on the community by AFC loans and others and create a new beginning. 5. Diversity and harness cultural and sports talents among youth of the region and build strong eco-tourism platforms.

This was revealed during Nasa presidential campaign launch at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega County, June 3.
