A union between independence party KANU, Raila Odinga's ODM, ANC and Wiper is part of Gideon Moi's strategic plan ahead of 2022 polls, Tiaty MP William Kamket has revealed.

Also, the Baringo senator targets moderate Jubilee MPs from the larger Mt. Kenya region as he roles sleeves to topple DP William Ruto from power.

"We are in deep discussions with ODM, Wiper, ANC and a section of Jubilee party that will not be fielding a presidential candidate," said Kamket.

The first term MP was addressing a Kanu branch officials meeting in Nairobi to assess the preparations as it re-brands ahead of 2022.

According to the MP, the discussions between Kanu and other like minded parties is at advanced stage adding that the future is bright.

"We are having structured conversations with like-minded political parties. I want to assure our supporters that the future is bright."

In April, Raila met former President Daniel Moi in a meeting Kamket says was eclipsed by 2022 politics.

While Raila has openly said he will not be on ballot, sources say that he may support the soft spoken Baringo senator Moi.

At President Uhuru Kenyatta's backyard, the young Moi is said to have met several politicians as he seeks to run away with the vote rich central region.
