NASA leader Raila Odinga has his presidential future in the palms of seven people. This came after the opposition leader changed NASA’s earlier stand not to go to court to dispute presidential results.
HOdinga said that they will move to the Supreme Court to expose what he termed a computer generated leadership. The decision by this Article 163 court is binding and supreme to other courts. The seven members will determine the future of Raila Odinga politically.
The Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court David Maraga will lead the team in hearing NASA’s petition. His deputy and Vicve President of this court Hon. Lady Justice Philomena Mbete Mwilu is another Kenyan who will summarize the say of over six million Kenyans.
Others are Hon. Mr. Justice Mohamed Khadhar Ibrahim, Hon. Justice (Prof) Jackton Boma Ojwang, Hon. Justice Isaac Lenaola, Hon. Justice (Dr.) Smokin Wanjala and Hon. Lady Justice Njoki Susanna Ndung’u.
The above bench will make a historical decision after receiving opposition’s petition. This will be the second time Raila Odinga is moving to the Supreme Court after the 2013 move that saw President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win affirmed.
