Former Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu has said that Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) Leader Raila Amolo Odinga lost during the last general election because she moved from one part of Ukambani to another campaigning for President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.
According to Ngilu she has been losing the past general polls because of opposing Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka.
She said that this time round she is not going to make the same mistake again to enable her unseat Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe in the forthcoming General polls.
The iron lady said that she lost both the 2007 and 2013 elections for being on a different side with the former vice President, adding that she regrets the moves.
"I opposed him in 2007 and lost and again in 2013. This is not going to happen again,” she said, as quoted by Nation.
On his part, Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana said Mr Musyoka was the best candidate the National Super Alliance can field to battle it out with UhuRuto in the upcoming polls.
"Ask us to even go and talk to the other co-principals so we can tell them this, because you are the one to save Kenya," he said.
