Details have emerged on how DP William Ruto's home in Sugoi, Uasin Gishu county will be protected.

The DP is expected in the home to take part in the Tuesday general polls, two weeks after an attack by a hawker.

The attacker was killed following a night of gun fire.

The star reports that close to 500 heavily armed police officers have been deployed to the home and neighboring areas

DCI boss Ndegwa Muhoro has further stated that a GSU Land Rover will carry out frequent patrols in the area.

“We are still investigating any links to terrorism in the attack,” he said.
