Fresh details have emerged regarding lawyer Miguna Miguna’s departure from Dubai to Toronto on Monday.
Miguna left Dubai on Sunday for Toronto after being stranded in the Arab country for about 4 days.
He had claimed that his travel documents had been confiscated by Kenyan authorities.However, it later emerged that Miguna travelled using his Canadian passport.
According to senior government officials in the know, Miguna summoned an accomplice who flew the travel document from Kenya and delivered it to him at the Dubai airport.
Earlier, Kenyan authorities had insisted that Miguna Miguna can only enter the country with a valid Visa or passport and no ID like he demanded.
Explaining his departure from Dubai, Miguna who has arrived in Toronto Canada didn’t give an explanation of if he did or did not travel to Canada on his adopted country’s passport.
Miguna left Dubai around midnight on Sunday aboard Air Canada flight number AC 57.
