The National Super Alliance (NASA) put Jubilee and Independent Electoral and Boundaries (IEBC) on the spot for allegedly rigging the last general election in favor of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The opposition asked the court to allow them examine all forms used during the elections in order to determine whether they were genuine or fake.

In scrutinizing the forms, the NASA team had to look at different features such as the presence of water marks using the UV reader.

They had to also look at the color of the forms, serialization, micro text, format of forms, anti-copy features as well as column for comments on the form.

Through Senator James Orengo, a lawyer, NASA team told the court that President Uhuru was declared the winner illegally. The leaders claimed that the electoral body created room for forgery of documents among other malpractices.

“Our case has been proved that forgery, alternation of documents fakery and deception have been used in various ways, including one in which the server was used,” Orengo told the court on Tuesday night, as quoted by the Star.
