A last minister change of itinerary by NASA organizers ensured that virtually all parts of Nyamira were covered on Sunday, reveals Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire.
At least a member of the top leadership toured all the four constituencies in a campaign that could be the last before elections.
And Bosire said they strategically ensured that all regions within the vast county were covered for the sake of consolidating votes.
“It was important and we changed the itinerary to ensure that all regions were well covered. I am happy we managed to do so,” he said.
“We wanted our people to feel our presence and that is exactly what happened,” added Bosire, who is defending his Kitutu Masaba on an ODM ticket.
Interestingly, all principals traversed the region along with favorite parliamentary candidates from their respective regions.
Raila Odinga toured North Mugirango that is represented by Charles Geni and Bosire’s Kitutu Masaba. Kalonzo Musyoka on his part went to Borabu with Ben Momanyi before visiting West Mugirango with Steve Mogaka.
Musalia Mudavadi also went to Borabu with ODM’s Nyandoro Kambi while Moses Wetangula spent most of the day at West Mugirango with lawyer Kemosi Mogaka.
