Top lawyers who lined up for opposition leader Raila Odinga divided labour in Supreme Court systematically due to time constraints.

Odinga is challenging reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta, a matter that will be determined by seven judges on Friday.

And to simply the matter on the floor, Counsel James Orengo confined himself to the constitutional part of the petition where he raised questions with regard to IEBC’s mistakes throughout the electioneering period.

On his part, Nyamira senator Okong’o Mogeni tackled the political aspect of the case where he raised various matters with regard to President Uhuru’s campaigns.

In his submissions, Mogeni accused a section of Cabinet Secretaries for allegedly campaigning for Uhuru against the law.

Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo, a constitutional lawyer on matters electoral processes, confined himself to alleged electoral fraud where he questioned various records as submitted by the commission.

And Odinga’s lawyer Paul Mwangi, an expert in Case lawyer, convinced the court why they have to nullify Uhuru’s reelection based on a number of precedents in various jurisprudences.
