NASA leader Raila Odinga may have after all conceded defeat to President Uhuru Kenyatta, insists South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro.

A defiant Raila insists his swearing-in shall go on as planned despite resistance from a section of Kenyans.

"When that date comes, I shall sleep with you at Uhuru Park. We must take over leadership of this country," he said.

The international community has been working round the clock to prevail upon Raila, with US ambassador Robert Godec leading the troops.

But Osoro says the failure by Raila to de-whip NASA MPs from attending parliamentary services was the time he conceded to Jubilee.

"Whether we like it or not, Raila conceded to Uhuru. I tried to urge him to whip us against attending parliament but he refused.

"It is evident that he has since moved on and as supporters, that is the bitter reality," he said on Monday.

Along with Osoro, a section of Gusii MPs allied to NASA under Kitutu Chache South's Richard Onyonka, have vowed to recognise Uhuru as president.
