Raila Odinga's failure to whip NASA legislators from attending parliament worked in President Uhuru Kenyatta's favour, an MP has claimed.
Despite accusing Uhuru of stolen victory, NASA has continued to transact house business, an action which to some extent legitimises Uhuru's leadership.
"We have continued to transact house businesses and we have even filled certain positions," said Sylvanus Osoro, who represents South Mugirango.
NASA has been holding a series of rallies across the country and insists that they will have Raila sworn as president.
And Osoro, now claims Raila may have fallen into Uhuru's trap by failing to whip MPs by calling for parliamentary boycotts.
"I told Raila to whip us and insist of boycotting parliament but he kept mum. This means he recognises Uhuru as president," wrote Osoro.
In recent weeks, NASA is continuosly facing pressure from supporters to swear in Odinga, a move that has been equally opposed by some leaders.
