Small political parties have come to the rescue of politicians who will not clinch ticket of both Cord and Jubilee coalitions ahead of the August 8 polls.

It has emerged that, the parties have resolved to issuing out free nominations tickets in order to attract candidates from the two powerful coalitions.

The move is aimed at ripping off from a possible fallout that might emerge between candidates and Jubilee or Cord in case they fail to clinch tickets.

"We have already started giving out nomination tickets. We do this on a one-off and first –come, first-served basis. Candidates will never come back to us again, like it happens in other parties after primaries," said Farmers Party Farmers party leader David Kigochi in an interview with Standard.

Fears have already emerged in Jubilee party in regards to missing out on tickets by powerful politicians.

Jubilee which will be used by President Uhuru Kenyatta for re-election comprises of smaller parties that were folded to form one.
