On Sunday, Gor Mahia played against the English Championship side, HullCity, in a match that pulled up a huge crowd.

According to Gor officials, this was seven times higher than the amountof money realized from a Kenyan Premier League match between Gor Mahia and AFCLeopard staged in Nakuru three weeks ago.
According to Gor Mahia treasurer, Sally Bolo, the figure is among thehighest amounts of money collected by Gor Mahia by way of gate collection inrecent times.
“It is the highest amount we have recorded as a club this season, and itis definitely among the highest amounts of money the club has realized in along time. I thank the Gor fans for the wonderful turnout and ask them tocontinue supporting the club with that same passion,” Sally told the Nation.
During the match, Sh 100 was being charged for terraces and Sh 1000 forVIP.
