Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has bought a new chopper to facilitate his movements across the vast county.
According to the Standard, the governor has acquired the air machine with registration number 5y-HL1.
It is said that the governor went for the chopper to fulfill his busy schedule which saw him land at the Pirates Beach and Mama Ngina in the the celebrations to usher in the New Year.
Accompanied by his close ally Kilifi governor Amason Kingi, Joho is said to have also held close talks with artists from the coastal region to broaden and assist the industry this year.
Photos of the said talks show the governor hanging out with Anto Neo-Soul, Akothee and Victoria Kimani in what is said to be a discussion on artist welfare, issues concerning women and how his government can assist the entertainment industry.
