[Photo|PSCU]President Uhuru Kenyatta is today (Sunday) scheduled to tour Coast region's Mombasa county, ahead of the October 26, fresh presidential election.Uhuru, flanked by his Deputy William Ruto, will be returning to the county, which us perceived an Opposition stronghold, with main agenda of receiving former Mombasa senator Hassan Omar Hassan, who defected from Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper Democratic Movement.Omar resigned as the Secretary-General of the party, days after losing his gubernatorial bid to incumbent ODM's Ali Hassan Joho, citing lack of support from his party leader, and the party's poor leadership. He has since been seen meeting with President Uhuru's Jubilee Party leaders at the Mombasa party offices, an indication that he has jumped ship. The duo will be backing on Omar's support in the county, to lure more votes, from Raila Odinga's NASA.
