Former minister in the grand coalition government Franklin Bett has revealed the person charged with the responsibility of managing former president Moi's diary.
According to Mr Bett, a man identified as John Lokorio is the man who gets in touch with those interested in seeing the former president and manages his schedule.
Bett contended that there is a high possibility that Mr. Lokorio was not involved in the planning and scheduling of Deputy President's visit to Kabarak hence the snub.
''First of all, there is a private secretary who is a gatekeeper for the former president, not the son. The son is not the gatekeeper of the former president. There is a gatekeeper by the name of John Lokorio...One would want to know did Mr Lokorio put in his diary the visit by the deputy president?''Franklin Bett said.
The former minister was speaking in an interview with a mainstream television station.
The snub triggered a huge backlash from pro-Ruto politicians who have been hitting at Gideon Moi.
