[Photo/standardmedia.co.ke]The State of the Judiciary and Administration of Justice report has revealed that the Kenyan courts collected about 2 billion shillings in fines and court fees this year.Kenyans parted with 1.47 billion shillings in fines and 838 million shillings in court fees.This was a drop compared to 2016 where 2.3 billion shillings was collected, a drop occasioned by less fine collections this year.
Milimani maintained its stranglehold at the top in the fees category, collecting 156 million shillings.
