Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua has been listed among the most covered county bosses in the nation.  

Mutua, who is defending his post in August, was mentioned among lawmakers who commented most on matters of corruption following a study conducted by Kenya’s four national dailies newspapers — Daily Nation, The Standard, People Daily and The Star. 

Evans Kidero (Nairobi) and Isaac Ruto (Bomet) were also listed among those leaders who commented most on corruption we draw closer to the next general elections. 

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho was also included the most visible county bosses on local newspapers. 

In terms of the most covered mps in the 11th parliament included Aden Duale, Ababu Namwamba and John Mbadi. In reference to senators, Moses Wetang'ula (Bungoma), Boni Khalwale (Kakamega) and Kindiki Kithure (Tharaka-Nithi) were listed for the most coverage. 

The study comes at a time when Mutua has intensified his campaigns in different parts of the county. 

Mutua has assured his people that he will change their lives once he takes over power after the August general elections.

He is set to lock horns with Former Kathaini MP and Machakos Deputy Governor Bernard Kiala. Both Mutua and Ndeti have launched their manifestos.
